About Me

Maria Bosley
Austin, Texas
Although native to Texas, I grew up mostly in Mexico and Central America and thus have not been involved much in the political scene, either in Texas or the U.S. in general. I would say ideologically I'm more of an independent, but definitely more liberal than conservative and I will be voting for Obama in 2012, unless something changes drastically. My family has been democratic for generations and I generally support those ideals as well. I'm looking forward to getting more involved in the political scene, both in Texas and in the U.S. in general, as well. I'm taking this class as part of the core requirements and am hoping to transfer to UT in the spring of next year, majoring in biology/pre-med.
